LAXLO - Amplifying the Underground Currents

Minimalistic and harmonic LAXLO pours his love for the rave into his hypnotic techno. Together with his collaborators, he engineers events from start to finish, taking care of every detail from sound production to lighting design with the touch of an entrepreneur. What began as a passion has evolved into a professional craft.

Building on a childhood foundation of classical music and piano, LAXLO draws parallels between electronic and classical music in terms of structure, melody, and emotion. Over the years, his sound has evolved from trance influences into his current techno signature. As co-founder of the Quantum Leap sci-fi concept and a core member of the Konehalli warehouse raves, he cultivates immersive underground experiences, high-quality production, and a deep focus on the community.

When crafting his sets, LAXLO blends technical precision with intuition, immersing himself in the music to create a symbiotic connection with the audience. He channels this energy back into the mix, living the moment alongside the crowd. For him, a successful event is where atmosphere, visual art, musical selection, and the people merge – generating a positive feedback loop fitting his simple philosophy: ”Music is good therapy.”

Profoundly shaped by the Oulu rave scene, LAXLO finds inspiration from this energy. He believes the strength of the underground lies in its diverse talents working together. While he celebrates the current momentum, his gaze is always set forward. Now his focus lies on orchestrating higher-quality events and introducing new artistic perspectives, dedicated to further developing the local culture.
