LaavU – A Rave Family

LaavU, or Laav Unit ry, is one of the longest-standing rave families in Oulu, Finland. We build lasting bonds by elevating one another and encouraging everyone to contribute, learn, and grow together.

Our core mission is to serve as a platform for self-expression. We connect eager volunteers with a network of professionals, offering guidance and opportunities to create. We champion those willing to take initiative and assume responsibility, backing them with the full resources and know-how of our decade-strong non-profit.

Drawing on extensive experience with the unique challenges of the underground, LaavU is pioneering subcultural community care with a focus on accessibility and safer space practices. From intimate invite-only gatherings to concept clubs, we build the scene with integrity and respect.
